From Northern California, to the Southeastern coast of Alaska, the Pacific Northwest bio-region is teeming with life and beauty around every corner. As a Portland Oregon local, I have had the privilege to travel around my beautiful region and capture snippets of everyday life. The scenes that you see when you are coming around a mountain curve and don’t have the time to snap a photo. The scenes that you might see just passing through. The nuances of everyday life are beautiful. Capturing these moments is a challenge in of it self. Capturing a glimpse of a fiery sunset, the smile of a human being, and the ferocity of a landscape allows us to connect to these beautiful places, even when we aren’t physically there.
